Apple has released the iOS 4.3 update for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch.
It brings some great new features, including:
AirPlay enhancements - you can now stream video direct from your Photos app. This means you can shoot video on your iPad or iPhone and then share it on your TV via Apple TV.
Faster Safari web browsing - Self explanatory don't you think?
iTunes Home Sharing - As long as you have iTunes 10.2, you can now share your iTunes library anywhere in the home. According to Apple: "Now you can play your entire iTunes library from anywhere in the house. If it’s on your Mac or PC, you can play it on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch over a shared Wi-Fi network.3 And not just music. Watch a movie or TV show. Play a podcast. Or listen to an audiobook. On whichever device you want — without having to download or sync."
Customize iPad side switch - You can now customize the side switch to either lock the screen rotation or mute the volume. Just go to the Settings app to do this.
Personal Hotspot - If you have an iPhone 4 then you can enable it as a hotspot to share your cellular data connection with your iPad. This is great if you have a Wi-Fi only iPad and you're not in range of a convenient Wi-Fi access point.
