Gift for Vodafone as O2 stumbles

O2 has admitted that its customers have been affected by a problem that prevents them accessing the Internet. 

Lack of data service rather limits the use of the iPhone, and coming in the wake of Vodafone announcing that it will be offering the iPhone to its customers on January 14 the problem could not come at a worse time.

Top iPhone Apps of 2009

The iTunes store is now showing the top Apps and Games of 2009.

On the gaming front Real Racing, Real Football and Monopoly were favourites. 

For those of a more sensible persuasion, the top Apps of 2009 featured apps from Jamie Oliver (who's he?), Musee de Louvre, ECB Cricket and Tweetie 2. Also not forgetting Shazam.

South Korea outscores China 12 to 1 on iPhone launch

The iPhone 3GS has launched in South Korea, selling 60,000 in one day. This compares very favourably to the disappointing 5,000 sold at the Chinese launch.
